Nigeria’s Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo, Joins NUATE Attends ITF Congress in Morocco

Marrakesh, Morocco – Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has arrived in Marrakesh, Morocco, to attend the 2024 International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) Congress.
Keyamo’s presence underscores the Federal Government’s recognition of transport workers’ vital role in stabilizing the aviation sector and the economy. The ITF Congress brings together representatives from over 150 countries to discuss key issues and advance workers’ rights.
The National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE) and other Nigerian transport unions are also represented.
“The success of our aviation industry relies on workers’ dedication and resilience,” Keyamo stated. “We must support and engage with them as partners.”
The Minister’s attendance highlights Nigeria’s commitment to workers’ rights, safety, and development, and demonstrates the government’s efforts to collaborate with industry stakeholders and unions.
