The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Kelvin Aneke, has spotlighted the relentless efforts and often overlooked sacrifices of its air and ground personnel in sustaining national security operations across the country.

In a statement themed “Relentless Vigilance – Unseen Sacrifice,” the CAS emphasized that its personnel continue to operate round the clock in demanding and high-risk environments, frequently away from public attention.

According to him, their duties span detailed mission planning, rigorous aircraft maintenance, and the precise execution of operations in complex and volatile theatres.

He noted that, these efforts have enabled the force to maintain sustained pressure on террорист and criminal elements, contributing significantly to recent security gains recorded nationwide. The Air Force noted that the high operational tempo is made possible by the dedication, discipline, and professionalism of its personnel.

It further underscored that the sacrifices of its officers and airmen—often involving long hours and considerable personal risk—remain a critical component of Nigeria’s broader security architecture and joint military operations.

While much of their work goes undocumented, Aneke stressed that the impact of their commitment is evident in ongoing efforts to safeguard lives and protect the nation’s territorial integrity.
