NiDCOM TO PARTNER NAFTraPh ON COMMUNITY HEALTH AWARENESS

As part of giving back to the society, the Nigerian Association of Foreign Trained Pharmacists ( NAFTraPh) seeks partnership with Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) in creating health awareness to communities in the Country.
In an audience with the Association, Hon.Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/
CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission is pleased with their passion in going down to the grassroots to give back to the Communities on how to
tackle their health challenges.
The NiDCOM Boss promised to synergise with the NAFTraPh to ensure that
the awareness is done all over the length and breath of country.
These will be facilitated with the States Diaspora Focal Point Officers
in their various localities.
The NiDCOM Boss further encouraged the association to key into the
various policies and programmes of the commission which include among
others, the Nigerian Diaspora Investment Trust Fund recently approved by
President Muhammadu Buhari, the Diaspora Investment summit etc and tap
into the potentials and opportunities there from.
She added that the energy and zeal the Association has shown in giving
back to the society is most commendable.
Dr. John Ejezie, President of the Association aims to promote
volunteerism that will push the Country to the next level through social
health awareness.
This he believes, the Association can achieve through health education
in the areas of vacination, Immunization and screening health fairs that
will be organized in different Communities.
The Association also engages in training Pharmacists on immunization and
the first batch was done last year with the American Pharmacists
Association programme.
The Nigerian Association of Foreign Trained Pharmacists (NAFTraPh) is a
pharmaceutical non-profit organisation that helps people in Nigeria with
their pharmaceutical distribution system. They help hospitals integrate
the services of clinical pharmacists and also educate the general
Community on the use of pharmaceutical products to optimize their
health prospects.
