The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has invited stakeholders and the general public to submit written contributions as part of its ongoing review of the National Telecommunications Policy 2000.
The Commission said the initiative aligns with its mandate under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003, particularly Section 24(1), which provides for a consultative approach in policy formulation and review.

To support the process, the NCC has released a Consultation Paper on its official website, offering guidance to stakeholders on key areas of the proposed policy review and how to make submissions.

Interested parties submitted their responses on or before Friday, March 20, 2026. All submissions should be addressed to the Executive Vice Chairman of the Commission at its headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, for the attention of the Director, Policy, Competition and Economic Analysis.

According to the NCC, the review process is aimed at developing a more responsive and future-oriented telecommunications policy that reflects current industry realities and emerging trends in Nigeria’s digital landscape.
