NACCIMA Visits National AfCFTA Coordinating Office to Strengthen Partnership

The Director-General of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Sola Obadimu, led a delegation to the National AfCFTA Coordinating Office (NAC) in Abuja, Nigeria, today, January 19, 2026. The visit aimed to follow up on a collaborative sensitization project proposal initiated by NACCIMA earlier in 2025.
The NACCIMA team, which included Dr. Sulaiman Audu, Chairman of NACCIMA AfCFTA Committee, and Rebecca Ebokpo, Deputy Chairman, was received by the NAC team headed by Acting National Coordinator, Ms. Patience Okala.
Key outcomes from the meeting include:
– NAC will collaborate with NACCIMA to implement the AfCFTA sensitization project, focusing on mobilizing businesses across Nigeria.
– The initial project venues (Lagos and Abuja) may be expanded to reach a broader audience.
Ms. Okala praised NACCIMA’s initiative, acknowledging the need for impactful sensitization efforts on AfCFTA opportunities. The meeting concluded with exchanges of pleasantries and photographs.
