Organised with support from the KVP Nigeria Project, the dialogue created a vital forum for assessing current challenges, reviewing reform progress, and exploring actionable pathways for improving the ease of doing business in the country.

The event opened with welcome remarks from the NACCIMA President, Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, OON, mni, and the Director-General of PEBEC, Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu. Both leaders emphasised the importance of data-driven policymaking and strong collaboration between the public and private sectors to drive sustainable economic reforms.

A key highlight of the programme was the presentation of the NACCIMA Business Climate Survey (BCS) 2025 by Dr. Vincent Nwani, offering evidence-based insights into the state of businesses nationwide. The presentation was followed by an engaging Q&A session, where participants shared experiences and sought clarifications based on the survey’s findings.

The PEBEC DG also provided an update on ongoing reform initiatives, followed by another interactive question-and-answer segment. Participants then transitioned into a technical session, focusing on addressing information gaps, institutionalizing the BCS as an annual national tool, and proposing concrete inputs for the NACCIMA–PEBEC Joint Working Group Workplan.

Following a brief break, attendees reconvened for the presentation and formal adoption of the PPD Communiqué, which captured the key commitments and action points aimed at strengthening the business environment.

The programme concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Sherif Olaleye, Project Manager of the KVP Project Nigeria, and a vote of thanks delivered by NACCIMA Director-General, Engr. Olusola Obadimu.

In all, the dialogue served as a productive and collaborative platform for aligning priorities, deepening partnerships, and advancing reforms that will support a more competitive business climate in Nigeria. The full communiqué will be released shortly.
