An atmosphere of joy, love, and communal harmony filled the air as members of the MSP Residence Chapel came together to celebrate the fourth edition of their annual Galilee Day in Abuja.
The vibrant event, organised by the Missionary Society of Saint Paul (MSP) Residence Chapel, attracted a large turnout of worshippers, alongside friends, families, and well-wishers, all gathered to share in a memorable day of fellowship and celebration.
From the outset, the venue came alive with excitement as participants arrived in cheerful spirits, warmly greeting one another and rekindling connections. As the day unfolded, the celebration blossomed into a lively social gathering, enriched with laughter, engaging conversations, and a shared sense of belonging.
More than just a festive occasion, the Galilee Day served as an avenue for strengthening interpersonal bonds within the church community. Attendees embraced the opportunity to relax, interact freely, and nurture relationships beyond the usual setting of worship.
Speaking on the significance of the celebration, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Eugene Terngohol Lugah, MSP, underscored the deeper essence of the gathering, describing it as a reflection of the church as a united family.
“This gathering reminds us that the church goes beyond a place of worship; it is a family where everyone is valued and belongs,” he said, encouraging members to continue promoting unity, love, and mutual support.
Earlier, Chairman of the Easter Galilee Day Planning Committee, Dr. Dominic Ifidon, expressed delight at the steady growth of the event over the years.
“This is the fourth edition, and each year we witness greater participation and stronger unity among members. It is truly something we all look forward to,” he noted.
Participants also shared their enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of such gatherings in fostering deeper connections within the community.
“Programs like this bring us closer together outside regular services and strengthen our identity as one family,” some attendees said.
Now firmly established as a cherished tradition, the MSP Residence Chapel Galilee Day continues to embody the values of unity, friendship, and togetherness, reflecting the enduring teachings of Jesus Christ.
As the event concluded, attendees left with hearts full of joy and renewed bonds, eagerly anticipating future editions of the celebration.
