MINISTER OF FIN, BUDGET & NATIONAL PLANNING RECEIVES IN AUDIENCE AGRA DELEGATE

The Hon. Minister of Finance, Budget & National Planning in Nigeria, Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed received in audience, a delegation from Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), an African alliance with roots in farming communities across the continent.

AGRA’s goal is to increase incomes and improve food security for 30 million smallholder farm households in 11 African countries. Established in 2006, the African-led alliance focuses on transforming smallholder agriculture from a solitary struggle to survive, into farming as a business that thrives.

The delegation led by AGRA Board Chair, H.E. Hailemariam Dessalegn, the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia, also had present during the courtesy visit, H.E the Ethiopian Ambassador to Nigeria, the VP Policy & State Capability and the Nigerian Country Director.
