Meet Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa

Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa is a notable figure in Nigeria. He was appointed as a Commissioner ministry of,health in Katsina State by Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD. the Executive Governor of Katsina State.
During his stewardship as the Honorable Commissioner for Health in Katsina State he received the “Best State Health Insurance Agency Award 2024”
This recognition is a testament to his dedication and efforts in improving healthcare services in the state.
Dr. Saulawa’s expertise extends beyond healthcare administration, he has also contributed to academic research particularly in environmental science.
His work focused on desertification, forest control and management in dryland regions.
As Commissioner for Health, Dr. Saulawa has played a key role in promoting healthcare excellence in Katsina State, his achievements have been acknowledged through various awards, including the 2024 NHEA Lifetime Achievement Awards, where Katsina State received the State Government Health Insurance.
Dr Saulawa is now the current Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources, Katsina State where his leadership capabilities will also be felt.
