MAIDUGURI FLOOD: Minister Badaru Commiserates with Gov. Zulum

In the face of unprecedented flooding in Maiduguri, the Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, extended a heartfelt message of sympathy to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum and the people of Borno State. The devastating floods, caused by the overflow of the Alau Dam, have left a trail of destruction, displacing residents and exacerbating the state’s existing challenges.
My heartfelt sympathy goes to the people and government of Borno State at this trying period that flood has wrecked havoc in the state caused by the overflow of the Alau Dam.
“I am deeply saddened by the unfortunate flooding in Maiduguri, which has displaced families and caused untold hardship to the people of this great city. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time,” said Mohammed Badaru.
