Labour Minister Hosts Media Get-Together, Commends Correspondents

The Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dangyadi, hosted a get-together with labour correspondents on December 18, 2024, to foster a stronger relationship between the ministry and the media.
In his opening remarks, Patience Onuobia, Head of Press and Public Relations, welcomed the correspondents and commended their tireless efforts in reporting on labour issues. She described them as “friends for all seasons” who had consistently supported the ministry, even in challenging times.
Onuobia praised the correspondents for their professionalism, noting that they had demonstrated mastery of their craft across various media platforms, including print, broadcast, and online.
The Honourable Minister, Muhammad Maigari Dangyadi, was said to have initiated the meeting to establish a rapport with the correspondents and to express his appreciation for their work. The get-together was seen as an opportunity for the ministry to engage with the media and provide adequate publicity for its programmes and activities.
