Katsina state office of National population commission trains over 3,000 Facilitators ahead of 2023 population and housing census.

Katsina state office of National Population Commission says the branch has trained over three thousand Facilitators and special workforce officers ahead of 2023 population and housing census.

The training which was conducted at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic and Alqalam University katsina, was meant to equip the officers with basic technicalities involved in the forthcoming census.

The state Director of NPOPC office Alhaji Ishaq Lawal who stood in for commissioner NPOPC Office in Katsina state Engineer Bala Almu Banye said the trained officers will be posted to all the 34 local government areas across the state to train the field officers to conduct the enumeration exercise.

He expressed optimism that with commitment displayed by the trained officers the bring out the best in them during the exercise.

The Director called on the officers trained to adhere to what they learned at the training for the success of the census exercise and appreciated the support of the state Government and the public in all the stages of the forthcoming census.
Cruss section of the trained officers pledged to work towards achieving success of the 2023 headcount.

Later the trained officers were administered with oath of secrecy at both two venues of the training Hassan Usman Katsina polytechnic and Alqalam University.
