Katsina State Government Strategizes Efforts To Restore Peace

Katsina State Government has strategise efforts to bring back the lasting peace in front line Local Government areas affected by banditry.

The Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal disclosed this at the 21st Media trust Dialogue and presentation of African of the year award which was held at NAF conference center,Abuja.

The Deputy Governor explained that the present State administration has attached priority to security of lives and properties for robust development of the state .

Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe Said without security no meaningful development could be achieved, hence the need to create synergy between State , Federal and Private organizations in providing security.

He noted that the Establishment of security watch corps in katsina State has helped alot towards checkmating banditry activities affecting some part’s of the state.He also pointed out that issues of banditry have affected north western states and grass root economy of the people,
And stated that federal and state governments have been making tireless effort in that direction
