Katsina State Government bent on halting illegal mining- Mallam Jobe

Katsina state government has it is poised to halt illegal mining activities in the state to save guard the abundant mineral resources in the state .
The deputy governor Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe HCIB disclosed this when he led members of katsina state committee on mining activities for fact finding mission at the illegal mining site of GOLD and kaolin at Rafin gora village of Tandama ward of Danja local government.
He also explained that the committee had earlier invited those engaged in mining activities at the area but they refused to appear before the committee.

He added that current state administration under Dr Dikko Umar Radda will not fold its arms and allow unpatriotic citizens to continue misusing the state owned resources without due documentation and processes stressing that anybody found wanting will be punish according to the law.
