It’s An Offence For Bank To Refuse Mutilated Notes From Customers-CBN

The central Bank of Nigeria has said that it is an offence for any bank to refuse the collection of mutilated notes from customers.

The Apex bank made this known in response to a tweet by a bank customer who complained of his bank refusing to collect two N500 bad notes.

It is an offence for your bank to refuse the collection of your mutilated notes, you can forward your complaint to the Consumer Protection Department of CBN using the email cpd@cbn.gov.ng. Thank you
