ISOKO SOUTH 1 STATE CONSTITUENCY BYE-ELECTION: PDP wins with 72% total votes

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared the    the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), winner of the Isoko South 1 State Constituency Bye-Election result.

The election which took place on Saturday 11th September 2021, witnessed 16.94 percent, with 9,885 accredited voters out of 58,353 registered voters.

However total votes cast was 9,807 out of the accredited voters but 171 votes were rejected bringing the valid votes to 9,636.

Twelve parties contested of which PDP scored highest with 6,957 votes- 72%, followed by the All Progressive Congress (APC), with 1,301 votes- 13.50, then the Social Democratic Party (SPD), 1,291 votes- 13.39 and the eight parties shared 87 votes only.
