With the goal to spearhead innovative business models that redefine industry productivity, Huawei Cloud on Tuesday, April 30,2024, brought together Media Executives to the unveil their products at the Radisson Blu, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Speaking during his opening speech, The Huawei Cloud Manager said the firm is relentlessly committed to increasing the efficiency of digital content production, delivering exceptional user experiences and fostering collaboration with industry customers and partners with a a continued valuable relationship. He said Huawei cloud solutions has the potential to transform Nigeria’s media and entertainment industry.
Also speaking, the Cloud Solution Architect, Mr. Jimoh Ehi Okoh, said that Huawei, ventured into cloud about seven years ago, since then it has been growing at a very fast rate because of the adoption rate of our product around the world. “We are number two in China, number five globally and this is not our rating. We provide services to over 170 countries, more than 200 services at the moment,” he disclosed.
Guest at event include The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Mr. Tunde Rahman who urged Huawei, to educate social media users on responsible use of the digital platforms.
The Executive Director, Nigerian Television Authority, Mr. Lawal Ahmed who applauded Huawei for its commitment in empowering media organizations in Nigeria through innovative solutions.
Others are Mrs Stella Din Jacob, Director of News TVC Communications, and Mr. David Adeleke who all agreed that the Nigerian media, needs Huawei Cloud and other innovative solutions to be able to compete globally, and showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage to the world.
Mr. Adeyimi Olalekan Lawrence, CTO of Channels TV discussed the theme Media theme: “Unlock New Efficiency, with Huawei Cloud”.
