Current Elected Councillor for Penn Ward Wolverhampton Hon. Chief Celia Osakwe-Hibbert, Adaejiagamba 1and the immediate past Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on Diaspora Affairs, her Councillor Colleagues and other Special Guests, joined the Deputy Mayor of Wolverhampton (Councillor Sandra Samuels), to ‘raise’ the Armed-Forces-Day-Flag, outside the Wolverhampton Civic centre on the 21st of June 2021.

This was part of the annual celebrations in commemoration of the service of men and women in the British Armed Forces Community and support for serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets…

The Adaejiagamba used the opportunity to plead with and remind Imolites to protect and respect ‘our Servicemen and Women’.

“No matter the aggravation, it is completely counter productive to intimidate or let alone kill our servicemen.

“They are there to protect us and to maintain peace, law and order. If we feel this isn’t the case, we must find a mutual way to challenge and improve the situation, not create more chaos. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State listens,  therefore we must exhaust all means of dialogue with Him instead of engaging in destroying our State of Imo and upsetting it’s visitors”, Hon Celia stated.
