HIGH TEMPERATURE: NiMet ALERTS THE PUBLIC

As Nigerians prepare to celebrate the Valentine day, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has given forecast on a rise in temperature across some states in Nigeria.
According to the forecast, parts of Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, FCT, Imo, Plateau, Adamawa, Taraba and Benue are expected to experience temperatures greater than 40°C. Most parts of the north (except Kano), are expected to experience temperatures greater than 35°C and less than 40°C.
The entire inland of the south and most parts of the coastal states (except Lagos) are expected to be in the same temperature range. The statement disclosed.
