GIRLS IN ICT: Princess collaborates with CBN, NCC, EFCC, NDLEA, AIT, TSTv, to train and empower Girls

Over 100 teenage girls were trained on ICT recently in the 6th Edition of ‘Girls in ICT Connect Live”, by the Noble Teens Initiative between 13 & 15 June, 2022.
In her remarks, the Convener of Girls in ICT Connect Live and publisher of Nobleteens Africa Magazine who noted that it is the 6th free and non residential 3 Day ICT Advocacy and Empowerment Outreach to girls in and out of school in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja to mark the 2022 International Girls in ICT.
“100 teenage girls registered and participated in the very interactive sessions by experts and professionals in ICT from Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and other relevant fields in this season 6 of our GIRLS IN ICT CONNECT LIVE ABUJA charged and challenged the girls to go for STEM Education with the assurance of Access and Safety. It was highly impactful, the girls were tested and today the winners will be presented with prizes in our ICT Challenge”, she stated.
Princess noted that Nobleteens Africa Magazine is a publication of Talia Hills Limited with high content African Family Values Heritage Publication birthed in 2011 for Teenagers and Persons parenting teens in Nigeria, Africa and in the Diaspora via real-time and online platforms.
“We are very passionate about the vulnerable but veritable agents of change – Teenagers
especially female teens hence we are committed to consciously creating and providing strategic and systematic veritable wholesome platforms for them to express themselves, make informed
choices thereby maximizing their potentials while assisting them transit properly to adulthood.
“We try to give them hope and assured future by empowering them with ICT skills and mobile devices as start- ups in other to be part of the Digital World for the common good of all.
It is common knowledge now that over 95% of all jobs and businesses in the world have Digital/ICT component, and there is a large and growing shortage of talent and skills in the ICT sector, the need of the time is to get more females involved and take interest in ICT Careers.
We believe that teenagers indeed are the very critical and veritable agents of true change in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. They no doubt make up the greatest and very critical mass in Nigeria and Africa’s population which is a sure foundation for our collective true development
today and tomorrow.
She urged the teenagers to stand up to be counted and not to be discouraged by all that is going on around them. Princess Iphie also congratulated the part I I pants for successfully complete g the camp.
