Galadima is new Kano Pillars Chairman

Reports reaching Newsdotafrica has it that the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje stepped in to quell the ongoing crisis in the State Football by replacing the embattled Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club , Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya, with the Chairman of Kano State Sports Commission, Ibrahim Galadima.
He said “As Kano Pillars is facing more competition in National Premier League (NPL) it will be good to have leadership that could perfectly lead the Club and Galadima will do that until the appointment of a substantive Chairman.”
Recall that Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya was expelled by the Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria for his unsportsmanlike behaviour during the rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 31 game between Kano Pillars FC and Dakkada FC in Kano on Thursday June 23, 2022.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF also imposed a #2.75m fine on the club as punishment for their behavior.
