FRAUD ALERT: UI Disclaims Advert on Sale of Property

University of Ibadan has disowned an online advertisement the sale sale of the property, assets, and land of the school.

This is contained in a press release signed by Adejoke O. Akinpelu, Principal Assistant Registrar/Public Relations Officer, Directorate of Public Communication.

The University who  expressed dismay at an online sale advert announcing the sale of the property, assets, and land said the Management and the Governing Council of the University have not caused any such advert to be put out.

“Members of the public, especially the international community, are advised not to allow themselves to be swindled.

The University of Ibadan, its assets, and landed property are not up for sale.

Meanwhile, the Department of State Services has been notified and requested to bring the supposed agents to book”, the release noted.
