FRAUD ALERT: Gololo calls for suspension of Beta Edu as Humanitarian Affairs Minister

All Progressive Congress (APC), chieftain Dr Garus Gololo, has advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to suspend and carry out a holistic investigation on the activities of Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Betta Edu, in the past six months.

He noted that no one should be made a scape goat.

” This is not good for us, just in six months?, the opposition coalition, had raised the alarm toward the end of 2023 that the minister Betta Edu may have allegedly connived with some highly placed persons to undermine Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Today, the minister is moving about, while the national coordinator and CEO of NSIPA is being sacrificed. If the government is sincere, the minister should have been suspended alongside the National coordinator and CEO of NSIPA to pave the way for effective investigation. Sometimes ago , it was news about her predecessors and just in six months here we are hearing this. It is bad he said. I hope the new EFCC Chairman, sustains the momentum in prosecuting corrupt public office holders. As we can see, this is the difference between President Mohammadu Buhari and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the war against corruption. Even Buhari as an ex soldier, could do nothing on the war against corruption and under his nose many terrible things happened. But today, even the high and mighty are not spared”. Gogolo advised
