Barcelona had taken the lead after a careless foul on Balde by Bruno Fernandes was awarded a penalty. Robert Lewandowski stepped up and scored to put the LaLiga leaders ahead.

Barca thought they had made it two after a misplaced pass by David De Gea fell for Lewandowski, but they couldn’t capitalize.

United equalized through Fred after an assist by Fernandez. It was the turn of another Brazilian as Antony came from the bench to score the winning goal and ensure the red devils get to the next round of the competition.
