Foden pens contract extension

Manchester City forward, Phil Foden has signed a new contract which will see him stay at the Club until 2027.
The previous contract of the 22-year-old who has scored 52 goals in 182 games since making his debut in November 2017 was due to expire in 2024.
In his words: “It’s hard to put into words how happy I am to have signed this contract,”.
“It’s a dream come true. I have been a City fan all my life and I’ve trained here for so many years and I’ve even been a ballboy.
“I love this club so much, so to know I am going to be a part of it until 2027 feels amazing.”
Foden has scored two goals in 18 caps for England, winning 11 trophies with City, including four Premier League titles, four English Football League Cups and the FA Cup.
He has also won the Premier League Young Player of the Season and PFA Young Player of the Year awards in each of the last two seasons.
