FGN Mulls Collaboration with Nigerian Youth Economic Engagement and De-Radicalization Programme (NIYEEDEP)

The Federal Government of Nigeria is set to collaborate with the Nigerian Youth Economic Engagement and De-Radicalization Programme (NIYEEDEP), to tackle youth unemployment and poverty. The ambitious initiative aims to create jobs for 12 million youth farmers and food entrepreneurs.

According to the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, the initiative will focus on strategic economic engagement areas, including:

– Youth Farmers’ Cooperative Scheme
– Food4All Initiative
– Arts4Money Project
– Tech4Jobs Scheme
– Waste2Wealth Project
– Youths4Wealth Scheme
– Youths4Charity Outreach
– Youths4Peace Initiative
– Skills2Job Initiative

According the statement signed by Omolara Esan, Director (Information and Public Relations), the collaboration aims to ignite a wealth creation revolution in vital economic sectors such as technology, entertainment, renewable energy, and digital commerce, with a target of producing 6 million and more jobs.
