“I am thrilled to share with you the wonderful news of our Chairman gracing the Class of 1980 of Federal Government College Kaduna with his esteemed presence as the Special Guest of Honor at our Awards Day Ceremony held at Debbie’s Suites and Apartments, Karshi, Abuja”. Along with his classmates, felt truly blessed and grateful for this exceptional honour bestowed upon them. It was a momentous occasion where our Chairman delivered an inspiring speech, sharing his thoughts and vision for the future.
One of the key highlights was when Mallam Shehu Dikko, the National Sports Commission Chairman, addressed us, urging the Class of 1980 to consider sponsoring sporting activities in our beloved alma mater. He emphasized the importance of nurturing talent and promoting sports from the grassroots level, recognizing the significant role it plays in shaping the students’ overall development.
His words resonated deeply with us, reaffirming the value of investing in sports programs that not only enhance physical health but also instil important values such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership among students. By supporting sporting activities in our alma mater, we have the opportunity to create a positive impact on the lives of current and future students, empowering them to excel both in sports and academics. Therefore, I urge each one of you to join me in expressing our heartfelt appreciation to our Chairman Mallam Dikko for his kind gesture and his insightful advice.
Together Bar. Amodu said, “Let us strive to uphold the legacy of the Class of 1980 by fostering a culture of sportsmanship and excellence in our alma mater”.
With gratitude and warm regards Class of 1980, Federal Government College Kaduna.
