EKITI GUBER ELECTION 2022: INEC Notifies the Public of Election

In keeping the and stipulations of the election requirements in accordance with the Timetable and Schedule of Activities issued last year, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) through its office in Ekiti State has notified the public of the upcoming Guber election in Ekiti state, has pasted “Notice of Election” slated for June 2022.

The information was made available to News Dot Africa on  Tuesday by Rotimi Lawrence Oyekanmi, Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu, who disclosed that the Notice of Election for the Ekiti State Governorship Election has been published and pasted on the notice board in the premises of INEC in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.

He stated, “The Commission’s office in Ekiti State yesterday (Monday) pasted the “Notice of Election” for the Ekiti State Governorship Election holding in June this year on its notice board”.

“This is in accordance with the Timetable and Schedule of Activities issued last year.”

This move by INEC will increase political activities in Ekiti state ahead of the 2023 general elections in the entire nation.
