Effa Imoh Okim Inducted as Fellow of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers

Lagos, Nigeria – February 21, 2025 – Effa Imoh Okim, a renowned estate surveyor and valuer, was inducted as a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) at a ceremony held in Lagos.

The induction ceremony was attended by dignitaries and professionals in the field of estate surveying and valuation. Okim’s induction as a Fellow of NIESV is a testament to his exceptional professional achievements and contributions to the field.

Okim, who is currently the Director of the Benin Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has had a distinguished career spanning over 26 years. He has worked in various fields, including banking, estate surveying, valuation, and law enforcement.

He holds multiple academic qualifications, including a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management, Master of Science in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology, and Master of Philosophy in Leadership and Strategic Studies.

Okim is also a certified fraud examiner, project manager professional, and associate member of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria. He has undergone extensive international training with institutions such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

The induction ceremony was celebrated with a special citation, which highlighted Okim’s achievements and contributions to the field of estate surveying and valuation. The citation described him as “a man of focus, an astute professional, a patriotic Nigerian, and above all, a dear brother and covenant friend.”
