The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has made public the detailed breakdown of Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC), collection data by polling unit in Edo State, ahead of the governorship election scheduled for this weekend.

According to INEC, out of the 2,629,025 registered voters in Edo State, 2,249,780 (85.57%) have collected their PVCs, while 379,245 (14.43%) remain uncollected.

To ensure transparency and accountability, INEC has uploaded the 128-page document containing the polling unit-level data on its website. The document provides the number of PVCs collected and uncollected in each of the 4,519 polling units across the state.

Sam Olumekun, National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, explained that the data is intended to guide political parties, candidates, and the general public.

“This move underscores INEC’s commitment to openness and accountability in the electoral process,” Olumekun stated.
