Duke is new NDDC Commissioner for Cross River State

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 appointed Rt. Hon. Orok Duke as the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Commissioner representing Cross River State.
Buhari’s letter, which was read at plenary by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, also named 14 others as Managing Director and members of the Board.
The appointment named Lauretta Onochie- the Special Assistant on New Media as Chairman of the Commission.
The appointment was in accordance with the provision of Section 2(2)(a) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (establishment etc ) Act, CAP N86, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

1. Lauretta Ifeanyi Onochie (Delta) – Chairman
2. Dimgba Erugba – State Representative, Abia.
3. Dr Emem Wilcos Will – State Representative, Akwa Ibom.
4. Elder Sen. Dimaro Denyanbofa – State Representative, Bayelsa.
5. Hon. Orok Duke – State Representative, Cross River
6. Dr Pius Egberanwen Odudu – State Representative, Edo.
7. Engr. Anthony Okanne – State Representative, Imo.
8. Hon Gbenga Edema – State Representative, Ondo.
9. Elekwachi Dinkpa – State Representative, Rivers.
10. Alh. Mohammed Kabir Abubakar – State Representative, Nasarawa.
11. Alh. Sule-Iko Sadeeq Sani Sami – State Representative, Kebbi.
12. Prof. Tahir Mamman – State Representative, Adamawa.
