DR Erasmus Ekpang Honoured with Best Information Commissioner Award

Cross River State Commissioner for Information, Hon Dr Erasmus Ekpang has been honoured with the prestigious National Leadership Awards as Best Information Commissioner in Nigeria.
Dr Ekpang, who was decorated with the best information commissioner in Nigeria awards under the State Leadership Awards categories for Deputy Governors, Secretaries to State Government and Commissioners, was honoured in recognition of his exceptional performance and contributions to effective information management in the state.
The exclusive award ceremony tagged National Leadership Awards held on Wednesday in Abuja, was organised by the People’s Parliament Nigeria in conjunction with Leadership Awards Limited to recognized officials who distinguished themselves.
While dedicating the award to his principal, the Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu and his beloved family, Dr Erasmus Ekpang expressed his profound appreciations to the organisers for the recognition.
He restated his commitment towards excellence and effective dissemination of Information of government policies and programmes to the good people of Cross River State in line with the People First mantra of Governor Bassey Otu.
Earlier, Chief Perry Okpara, Chairman organising committee of the National Leadership Awards, described Dr Ekpang as a goal-getter who has changed the narrative in effective communication of government programmes placing him ahead of his colleagues,
It would be recalled that the National Leadership Awards organised by People’s Parliament, Nigeria and Leadership Awards Limited, has been in existence for the past 22 years.
