Dr EKPA DEPLOYED TO FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY
In the recent deployment and re-deployment of Permanent Secretaries in Federal Civil Service of Nigeria, approved by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR
Dr. Anthonia Ekpa PhD, has been deployed to the Ministry of Foreign affairs.
The Circular conveying the redeployment was signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr.Folasade Yemi -Esan. The Circular stated that the handing /taking-over processes are to be completed immediately.
Dr. Ekpa who hails from Cross Rivers State was appointed Permanent Secretary alongside Akinlade Oluwatoyin; Alkali Bashir Nura; Anyanwutaku Adaora Ifeoma; Ardo Babayo Kumo and Belgore Shuaib and Mohammad Lamido.
Others are Hussaini Babangida; Mahmuda Mamman; Meribole Emmanuel Chukwuemeko; Mohammed Aliyu Ganda; Tarfa Yerima Peter and Udon Manilola Omokunmi.
Until her appointment as Permanent Secretary, Dr Ekpa has served the nation in different capacity and was the Director, Road Transport and Mass Transit Administration at the Federal Ministry of Transportation, Abuja.
She is a trained administrator and communications specialist and an awardee of the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship. Dr Ekpa has a PhD in English Language from the University of Ibadan, Master of Sciences in Governance and Development Management from the University of Birmingham, England, Masters in English Language, from University of Ibadan and a Bachelor in English and Literary Studies, from the University of Calabar.
