Deputy Governor, QS Mannir Yakubu, donates vehicles to APC presidential campaign council

Katsina state Deputy Governor, QS Mannir Yakubu, has donated seven vehicles for the smooth running of APC presidential campaign council and Katsina state gubernatorial campaign.

The deputy Governor, who is also assistant director in the contact and mobilisation committee of the Tinubu campaign council, gave this indication when he chaired the maiden meeting of Katsina state Northwest contact and mobilization of the presidential campaign council of APC.

He explained that one of the objectives of the meeting is to review the progress made by the campaign council so far.

Other objectives include setting agenda for rigorous campaign activities to victory of APC and its candidates at polls.

QS Mannir Yakubu revealed that Katsina state has a single campaign body structure that comprises of presidential and gubernatorial campaigns teams.

He noted that so far the campaign activities are peaceful receiving support and cooperation of groups and individuals across the state.

In a remark the assistant secretary of the northwest presidential campaign council, Dr Talatu Nasir, said the deputy Governor has opened seven offices for the campaign council.in the state

She also said subcommittees have been formed to assist in intensifying the activities of the campaign council.

Mrs Nasir explained that the Committes include finance and logistics committee headed by the Deputy Governor QS Mannir yakubu, contact and mobilization committee headed by former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Tukur Ahmed jikamshi, and media and voter registration subcommittee.

She called for support from all members to achieve the set objectives.
