Defence Minister Solidifies Bond with Jigawa State, Offers Support in Flood Relief Efforts

Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has disclosed that the bond between him and Jigawa state people is unwavering.
Badaru made the disclosure when he visited Jigawa State to commiserate with the government and people over the recent devastating flood that ravaged most parts of the state, resulted in loss of life, properties, and destruction of farmlands.
Minister Badaru Abubakar expressed his deepest sympathy and made a personal donation of N20 million naira to support the relief efforts. He also conveyed a message from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reaffirming the federal government’s commitment to assisting the state during this challenging period.
The Minister praised Governor Malam Umar A Namadi’s swift response to the flood crisis, saying, “Your prompt action in providing relief to the flood victims is commendable.” The visit reinforced the strong bond between Minister Badaru Abubakar and the people of Jigawa State, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to their welfare.
