Defence Minister Explores Drone Technology in China to Enhance Nigeria’s Military Capabilities

In a bid to bolster Nigeria’s military capabilities, the Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, embarked on a tour of selected drone manufacturing companies in China. The visit was part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s official delegation to the Asian nation.
As the Minister walked through the facilities of these cutting-edge companies, he was exposed to the latest advancements in drone technology. The tour aimed to equip the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) with the knowledge and expertise to enhance its production of military equipment and hardware.
During the visit, Minister Abubakar engaged with top executives and engineers, seeking insights into the design, development, and deployment of drones for military purposes. He was impressed by the innovative solutions and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes on display.
