CRSG TO HOST CROSS RIVER GOT TALENT FOR STUDENT

All over the world there has been an awakening to income generation from talents and skills training not gotten from formal schooling. The need for multiple sources of income cannot be overemphasized hence the adoption and implementation of extracurricular activities in schools to help harness talents that can generate such extra income.
Cross River Student’s Got Talent is an initiative created to aid talent development. It is geared at unearthing talents in children aged 9 – 16 years of age.
According to the Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Education in Nigeria, Mr Castro Ezama, the talents of focus for the maiden edition is Creative Arts, Spoken Word, Dance and Music.
He noted aim of this project is to discover the talented children and offer them mentorship, coaching and exposure.
“We believe that empowering them in the early stage of their lives will surely create a platform for them to emerge as successes early in their different talent of choice”, Ezama stated.
