C’RIVER 2023: PRINCE OTU EMERGES AS APC CONSENSUS GUBER CANDIDATE

Ahead of the 2023 General Elections, a leading Gubernatorial Aspirant, Senator Prince Bassey Otu has emerged as the Consensus Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State.
The unanimous decision was made by the 17 Governorship Aspirants and major Party Stakeholders in favour of the former Senator representing Southern Senatorial District of Cross River State.
The meeting, which was presided over by the State Governor and leader of the Party, His Excellency, Sen Prof. Ben Ayade, had in attendance the State Chairman, Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba, other Exco members and the 17 Gubernatorial aspirants under the platform of the APC.
in a press release by Erasmus Ekpang, the State Publicity Secretary of the APC in Cross River State, they ‘resolved to donate power to Sen. Prince Bassey Otu to fly the flag of the Party as it’s Gubernatorial candidate’.
The Party expressed its sincere appreciation to the leader of the Party, the Chairman, all the Governorship Aspirants, critical Stakeholders and members of the great Party for arriving at this historic milestone and looks forward to a robust Primaries.
