COVID -19: NCRIB DONATES PALLIATIVE TO FCT ABUJA

The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), has donated food items as palliative to the Federal Capital Territory Administration, Abuja.
The President of NCRIB Dr. Bola Onigbogi who went with some of her members, said that COVID-19 has affected businesses negatively not only in Nigeria but the entire world.
Dr. Bola Onigbogi presented palliative to the Minister of State for FCT Dr. Ramatu Aliyu in her office and explained that the palliative was in support of government’s efforts in providing succor to the less privileged in the society and those that are adversely affected by COVID-19 pandemic.
She also disclosed that NCRIB will continue to give support to the vulnerable people in Nigeria even after the pandemic and advised Nigerians to adhere to the preventive measures given by the medical experts and federal government in order to curtail the spread of the virus.
The President further explained that the initiative is the NCRIB corporate social responsibility to provide succor for the masses through provision of palliatives during this period.
The minister of state for FCT Dr. Ramatu Aliyu commended members of NCRIB for providing succor to the vulnerable people especially at this challenging period of global pandemic and promised to distribute the items to the affected people in FCT.
Items donated include;
100 bags of 25kg rice
400 face masks
50 hand sanitizers
25 cartons of spaghetti
25 cartons of tomato tasty.
The council had earlier donated items worth millions of naira to some communities in Lagos state.
