Corruption is the bane of our economy

The Presidential Aspirant of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo has opined that the economic woes of the country is caused by the incurable corruption of the ruling class.

This he said in a recent discuss with journalists on the state of the nation and what he will do differently if elected into office at the Presidential Elections come 2023.

In his words: “Nigeria is not broke, but it is governed by people who have no interests of the average Nigerian at heart.
You see public officers being accused of stealing absurd amount of money frequently but the very basic needs of the society is being treated with levity”.

Asked how he’s going to fix the issues regarding corruption he said, ‘arrest and prosecution of public officers who are culpable of looting public funds will not only serve as a deterrent to anyone who wants to pilfer but will also lead to recovery of the funds which will in turn be used to serve Nigerians”.

He promised to run a Government that will be transparent and accountable by updating the average citizens of how their money is being spent.
