“Conduct Yourselves With Dignity”, Amb. Bianca Ojukwu Tells Declares 26th Regular Course of NFSA

Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs has urged participants of the 26th Regular Course of the Nigeria Foreign Service Academy (NFSA), to conduct themselves with dignity, professionalism, and a strong sense of duty.

Ojukwu gave the charge while addressing the participants during the official declaration of the opening ceremony. She emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and meeting the academy’s standards.

In addition she reminded them that as future diplomats, they will be representatives of Nigeria, shaping the country’s image globally and encouraged the participants to approach every aspect of the program with an open mind, commitment to excellence, and a willingness to learn from instructors and peers.

Beyond Academic Brilliance, Bianca emphasized the need to cultivate qualities like patience, tact, cultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills to excel in diplomacy.


The academy plays a crucial role in grooming Nigeria’s future diplomats, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate complex international relations and promote Nigeria’s interests globally.
