The Publicity Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and General Overseer of Christian Central Church International (CCCI) Calabar, Bishop Emma Isong advised Nigerians to stop selling their votes for porridge.

Isong gave the advice when he spoke with newsmen on the occasion of the 2023 Democracy Day celebrations.

He encouraged eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and exercise their franchise by voting at the 2023 General Elections.

“People should get their PVCs and vote for credible candidates at the general elections and vote out those who have nothing to offer the nation. They should stop collecting N1,000, cups of rice, three yards of clothing to sell their future for four years or eight years”.
“Now is the time for Nigerians to rise; be responsible and exercise their civic rights’’ Isong said.
