CDOWA President Lauds NSCDC CG as School Children Enjoy Blissful End of Party.

It was celebration galore as the saying goes “all work and no play make Jack a dull boy ” The Civil Defence Officers Wives Association Group of Schools, Abuja had a great end of year party where both officers and civilian children who attended CDOWA Group of Schools interacted freely and enjoyed a serene atmosphere to mark the Yuletide Season and Holidays.

The Civil Defence Officers Wives (CDOWA), National President and Wife of the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi has commended the CG and all Personnel both serving and retired for their hard work and resilience in providing an amiable environment for a peaceful family.

Hajiya Aishatu Ahmed Audi who said this during the end of year party of the CDOWA Group of Schools, noted that for the nation and any society to enjoy tranquility and progress there must be Unity of Purpose, Tolerance, Love, Understanding and Sacrifice by both parties in the marriage.

The CDOWA National President who, in addition doubles as the School Director further advised all women and female personnel to respect, honour and support their husbands in order to foster continuous progress in the life of the children and the society at large.

The CDOWA ‘Mummy’ hinted that as the motto of the Association implies ” Peace at Home Peace in the Nation ” every Parent must work in agreement to make the home a better place noting that many children are out of School because of broken homes hence the CDOWA is committed to bridging the gap by providing a conducive and affordable learning environment for both civilians and Civil Defence Officers.

She encouraged the teachers and students to have fun and enjoy the serenity of the Yuletide season and the goodies made available by the CG for the betterment of the School children.

“Let me wish you a wonderful Celebration as you enjoy the goodies provided by our father, the Commandant General; you deserved to have fun having worked assiduously for a whole year”.

“To the Teachers your efforts and sacrifice to bring the best out of these children is highly commendable and to you students you have made your parents proud and the CG is very proud of you all.
I sincerely thank the parents who entrusted us with their children and wards,”

In her remarks the CDOWA Group of School Coordinator, Deputy Commandant Chinonye Nwosu-Orue appreciated the Commandant General and the Management of CDOWA Group of Schools for providing the necessary logistics and conducive learning environment to compete favourably amongst others.

DC Chinonye said since the establishment of the School in 2022; the progress reports have been outstanding and she belief that the coming year will also bring visible improvements and development affirming that the Students are best among their peers as discipline, hardwork, dedication and patriotism are core values embedded in the School’s Educational Scheme and Psychology of Teaching.
