The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reaffirmed its commitment to driving economic growth and stability at the 20th Abuja International Trade Fair. Mrs. Hakama Sidi Ali, Ag. Director, Corporate Communications Department, CBN, highlighted the bank’s achievements and future plans during the CBN Special Day.

Speaking the Representative said the CBN has made significant strides in addressing macroeconomic challenges, with external reserves reaching $43.05 billion on September 11, 2025.

In addition, Fourteen banks have met their recapitalization requirements, and the CBN is closely monitoring the remaining banks to ensure successful completion.

The CBN’s Payment Systems Vision 2028 aims to broaden financial inclusion, improve security, and minimize downtime for faster and more efficient transactions.

CBN urges Nigerians to respect and keep the Naira clean, encouraging collective effort to promote a clean Naira notes, with the slogan “Our Naira, Our Pride.”

The Apex Bank’s participation in the 20th edition of the Abuja International Trade fair underscores its commitment to engaging with stakeholders and promoting economic growth and stability.
