The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced designated pick-up locations for members of the public wishing to obtain their Go-Cashless cards ahead of the March 1, 2026 implementation deadline.

According to the Authority, the cards are now available at all FAAN commercial offices and airport access gates nationwide. They will also be available from March 16, 2026, at selected branches of Fidelity Bank Plc.

The move is in line with a Federal Government directive mandating all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to transition to a fully cashless system. The directive is designed to enhance transparency, reduce revenue leakages, and improve the traceability of transactions across government institutions.

FAAN reaffirmed its commitment to full compliance with the policy and appealed to airport users and stakeholders for their understanding and cooperation during the transition period.
The Authority further clarified that the Go-Cashless cards will continue to be available at designated locations even after the March 1, 2026 deadline.
FAAN expressed confidence that the initiative will deliver faster, safer, and more convenient transactions across airports nationwide.
