Breaker Problem at Transmission Station, responsible for Calabar Outage

A faulty breaker belonging to Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, located inside Transmission Station, Ikot –Ekpene, has caused power outage early this morning in the entire Calabar, the Cross River state capital.

The outage has affected the valued customers of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, including members of the public and Government parastatals.

PHED, is however, impressed by the rapid response adopted by the technical crew from TCN to discover and fix the fault since the incident occurred.

PHED, therefore, sincerely solicits the patience of the customers while the fault is being fixed.
