BPC General Overseer urges Church Leaders to find solace amidst challenges encountered in life

The General Overseer of BPC, Pastor Zacheaus Ogunsanya has stressed the need for church leaders to rejuvenate, connect, and find solace amidst the challenges they encounter in life, urged fellow clergy members to find solace and inspiration in supporting one another.
Pastor Ogunsanya stated this during the empowerment program for ministers of God with both physical and spiritual encouragement materials. in a bid to boost the performance of Church ministers towards addressing the challenges facing the country.
Reflecting on the purpose behind the event, he emphasized the prevalent discouragement many pastors face in their ministries and the necessity to counter it with communal encouragement.
According to him, We decided to bring pastors together so that we can encourage them because they are facing a lot of discouragement outside.
Pastor Ogunsanya explained that the initiative is in its fourth year since inception in 2021 and has proven immensely beneficial to the church and nation at large.
“As those who are discouraged and about to give up have changed their mind, it has helped them both the church and the nation at large,” he added
“This program has brought a lot of transformation to the pastors and their ministries, some are already going in the wrong way but find reason to return to the right way and are doing well.
Also speaking, Secretary-General of the United Nation Polac Foundation,Dr Mrs Patricia Agu commended the program’s timing,in recognizing the prevalent challenges, including depression, affecting both the nation and its ministers. She underscored the empowerment and fortitude it offers to pastors in navigating their roles in the society.
Some of the Ministers, that include Evangelist. Favour Chukwukaodinaka of God’s Authority, Anambra State,Bishop Nathaniel Adekola of Faith Charismatic Church among other participants expressed joy towards the kind gesture of the church,noting that the initiative would boost their morale and performance in service to God and humanity at large.
The event with the theme”Physical and Spiritual Encouragement” ,also featured distribution of gift items, such as,food ,clothing, cash ,books among others.
