Be Good Ambassadors of NIS, Shaibu Charges Officials During Easter Courtesy Visit

The Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), His Excellency, Comrade Philip Shaibu, on Monday received officials of the Institute who paid him a courtesy visit in celebration of the Easter season at his residence in Jattu, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
The visit, marked by goodwill, provided an opportunity for the NIS staff to felicitate with the DG/CEO while also reaffirming their loyalty and commitment to the ideals of the Institute.
In his brief remarks, Shaibu expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of unity and shared purpose within the NIS family. He used the occasion to charge the officials to uphold the core values of the Institute in the discharge of their duties.
He urged them to remain good ambassadors of the National Institute for Sports, emphasizing the need for professionalism, discipline, and integrity in their interactions with the public.
Shaibu further encouraged the officials to see themselves as the face of the Institute in their respective host communities, noting that their conduct would significantly shape public perception of the organization.
The DG/CEO also highlighted the importance of building strong relationships with host communities, stressing that mutual respect and cooperation are essential for the successful implementation of the Institute’s programs and initiatives.
