Bangladesh High Commission in Nigeria Commemorates July Uprising Day with Dignity

The Bangladesh High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria, marked the first anniversary of the July Uprising Day with a solemn ceremony. Honorable High Commissioner Designate, Mr. Mian Md. Mainul Kabir led the event, which included the inauguration of a photo exhibition on the July Revolution, a minute of silence, and a special prayer for the martyrs.
Messages from the Honorable President and Chief Adviser were read out to commemorate the occasion.
A documentary on the July Uprising was screened, highlighting the significance of the event, emphasizing the role of the younger generation in nation-building.
Professor Isaac Samani, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Open University of Nigeria, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the July-August uprising in Bangladesh.

High Commissioner called upon the youth to work towards realizing the dream of a discrimination-free, egalitarian, and democratic state that the student martyrs fought for. The event was attended by dignitaries, including ambassadors, embassy representatives, expatriate Bangladeshis, and Nigerian media personnel.
