Shiloh Akinyemi, daughter of Apostle Dr. Bolaji O. Akinyemi, tied the knot with Ehizogie in a beautiful traditional and white wedding ceremony at Nafowa Multipurpose Hall, Lagos.
Pastor Tim Mogaji officiated the wedding, led the couple through their vows, while Pastor Ola Peters delivered a sermon, drawing lessons from John 2:1-10.
The couple exchanged vows, promising to love and respect each other in the hall sparkled in burnt orange and emerald green, the colours chosen for the day—while guests enjoyed a wide variety of food and drinks.
Shiloh and Ehizogie’s union, marked by faith, family, and festivity, is more than a celebration of love, it is a testament to the power of commitment, the joy of giving, and the presence of God in life’s most important moments.
As they embark on this new chapter together, the couple carries the prayers, blessings, and encouragement of all who witnessed their beautiful wedding day.
Other officiating ministers present at the wedding included Pastor Funso James of Comfort House, Pastor David Adeoye of Royalty Christian Centre.

The spiritual tone of the day was enriched by the sermon delivered by Pastor Ola Peters, who drew lessons from the Book of John, chapter 2, verses 1-10—the story of Jesus performing His first miracle at the wedding in Cana.
Pastor Peters recounted how Jesus turned water into wine, saving the couple from embarrassment and blessing their union.
He encouraged Shiloh and Ehizogie to remember that God would always show up in their lives, even when challenges arose, offering miracles of joy, forgiveness, and abundance throughout their marriage.
“Whenever they need guidance or miracles, God will be there, just as He was on the first day. That is the assurance of faith and the foundation of a marriage rooted in God”, he said.
Speaking with mixed emotions, Apostle Dr. Bolaji O. Akinyemi, expressed joy and nostalgia. “It is one of the happiest moments of my life,” he said.
“Seeing my little Shiloh grew to become a woman and being alive to give her hand in marriage is a father’s greatest privilege. But of course, I will miss her dearly.”
Reflecting on his daughter’s personality, he added, “Shiloh is down-to-earth, faithful, and has a remarkable love for learning.
“At home, we call her ‘Bookworm’ because of her dedication to study and reading. She is also an accomplished writer, having been published in one of Nigeria’s leading newspapers even before I was.”
The apostle described marriage as a continuation of stewardship. “Every form of leadership is designed by God to be a stewardship.
“As a father, I am a steward over my children. As a husband, Ehizogie is now a steward over his wife and future family. Today, we celebrate the faithful stewardship God has entrusted to us”, he concluded.
